This year, I'm proud to support the 25th Anniversary of Father Joe's Villages Thanksgiving Day 5K—a San Diego tradition that has brought our community together for a quarter century to make a difference.

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on what we're grateful for and to extend a helping hand to our neighbors who need it most. By supporting my fundraiser, you're helping ensure that individuals and families experiencing homelessness have access to nutritious meals, compassionate care, and pathways toward lasting stability.

For 25 years, the Thanksgiving Day 5K has united thousands of participants and supporters while raising critical funds for Father Joe's Villages' Food Services programs, including the Franklin Antonio Public Lunch Line, drive-through food pantries, and three meals a day for neighbors living in shelter.

Father Joe's Villages provides meals and much more. As San Diego's largest provider of homeless services, they offer comprehensive support, including medical care, mental health services, substance use treatment, therapeutic childcare, employment education and training, and housing assistance—helping people move from homelessness to hope.

San Diego continues to face one of the largest homelessness crises in the nation, impacting individuals, families, children, and veterans. Your gift helps ensure our neighbors receive not only a warm meal today, but also the support they need to build a brighter future.
